1. Chat Function: This enables you to chat in real time to other users. A nice way to keep in touch with your friends obviously, but it also allows you to get a 'sense' of someone you haven't previously known.

2. HER PROFILE: This where you can upload your own info, such as interests, location, profile picture etc. Here, there is a facility which allows you to choose how much or how little activity you want to be visible on your wall....simply adjust the settings to suit.

3. INSTANT MESSAGING: Allows you to send messages to other users for them to pick up when they're next logged in - or immediately if they're already logged in.

4. HER GROUPS: Users can create their own private, or public, section within a chosen category. This is a useful tool for family and friend groups, but it's also very useful for clubs and groups - such as sports teams, choirs etc. to communicate easily with fellow members, and for attracting new group members.

5. HER EVENTS: A good way of promoting your NON-BUSINESS events to our users. It also allows users to register an interest in attending an event.

6. HER BLOGS: Start your forum or blog here - read and comment on other users' forums.

7. NOTICE BOARDS: These are placed under category headings, e.g. Driving Miss Daisy(car sharing etc.) and are an additional tool in searching for 'interest buddies'. Place your own notice, or respond to somebody else's notice. We ask that all users delete their old unwanted notices, in order to keep the Notice Boards relevant and uncluttered. The E-voucher Swap Board is not yet in use, but has been placed there in readiness for a future project.

8. INVITE FRIENDS: This enables you to invite your friends to the Herbuzz network....the more the merrier as they say.

9. HER SHOPS: We hope to populate our shop directory with attractive shops and businesses. Obviously on a brand new website this isn't going to happen overnight, but we are actively sourcing businesses and individuals who we believe offer products and/or services that are either appealing or useful (or both) to our users. For businesses that suit our criteria, we are offering a place in our shop directory for only £20.00 per annum. We're very keen to develop Her Shops into an enjoyable part of the HerBuzz experience.

10. SAFETY: We would remind all users to take the usual precautions when talking to and/or meeting someone new.  Don't be too eager to give out personal information such as your address etc.  When meeting up with an interest buddy for the first time, arrange to meet in a busy public area and let someone know where you're going if possible.  Stick to this routine until you feel completely comfortable with, and about, the person you're meeting.
